CompanyThe Jasper Group opened its’ doors on August 16th, 1992 in Rochester Hills, Michigan. This small company started out as a buyer and seller of refurbished and certified hardware; consisting mostly of Unisys and IBM mainframes, servers, disk, tape, etc…
Beginning in late 1993, the company began a maintenance division that concentrated on providing solutions for commercial businesses, government agencies, and financial institutions that were effectively running systems two to three years old or older, but were being priced out of their equipment because of rate increases on hardware and software support. The cycle of purchasing new equipment every three years, solely based upon looming cost increases was about to be changed forever.
By 2003, The Jasper Group had grown substantially in personnel and size, with sales offices in Rochester, Michigan and Highland Beach, Florida. In 2005, operations were expanded in the Midwest by adding warehousing and hot-staging facilities.
Today, our portfolio consists of an impressive list of maintenance clients representing Fortune 500 companies, large counties and parishes, schools, hospitals, sheriff's departments and many others. That list continues to grow.
